Stuart joined the team as Project Trustee in April 2022 on behalf of Letchworth Centre for Healthy Living.
He has worked within the public sector for over 37 years and is committed to helping those in greatest need within society.
His varied work has encompassed the development of many community engagement initiatives, designed to address social inclusion, community health & wellbeing, loneliness and isolation.
Lisa has worked at Growing People as a Social and Therapeutic Horticultural Practitioner since 2017. Previous to this she worked with the NHS in community rehabilitation.
Lisa has a BSc (Hons) in Professional Practice in Health Care, a Diploma in Social and Therapeutic Horticulture and a certificate in sustainable horticulture from Schumacher College. Lisa also has a MSc in Sustainable Food and Natural Resources.
Lisa’s voluntary work revolves around the local community; spray-free food growing, gardening, cooking and food waste prevention.
Jenni has always been interested in the therapeutic power of gardens and began at Growing People as a volunteer. Previous to this she worked and volunteered at other Social and Therapeutic Horticulture projects.
Jenni studied Development and Peace Studies at Bradford University where she ran the student permaculture garden. She has just completed work on her Diploma in Social and Therapeutic Horticulture.
Jenni also works as a gardener and once won a prize at the famous Heckington Show!
